Boarding

Full Stall Board - $675/month
Includes board, daily turn-out, nightly stall, all hay, and up to six quarts of grain per day.

Basic Board - $600/month
Includes board, daily pasture turn-out, all hay, and up to four quarts of grain per day; stall at night during winter and outside 24/7 with a shelter during summer.

Temporary/Seasonal Board - $700/month

Outdoor Board - we do not offer strictly outdoor board at this time.

Lessons

We offer riding lessons for all ages and experience levels. We specialize in dressage, but will work with riders of any discipline to build a solid foundation.

Independent lessons require rider to retrieve/groom/tack independently.

Independent Private Lessons - $60
(45 min.)
Independent Semi-Private Lessons - $50
(1 hour)
Independent Group Lessons - $40
(1 hour)

Beginner lessons include grooming/tacking as part of the scheduled time.

Beginner Private Lessons - $40
(1 hour with ~30 minutes mounted)
Mini Camp - $40
(2 hours with ~40 minutes mounted group)

Camp & Clinics

We offer several day camps each summer (and sometimes during winter breaks) for children ages 6-17. Camps include riding lessons, lessons in horsemanship and care, games, and crafts. Campers bring their own lunch, drinks, sunscreen, and riding gear.

We also offer clinics for teens and adults throughout the year.

Equine Therapy

Tykenbay Acres is home to Riding High For Kids, a non-profit organization providing equine-assisted therapy to individuals of all ages. Equine-Assisted Therapy is an experiential treatment approach that provides the client with equine experiences designed to promote self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-responsibility.

Our equine therapy program is currently unavailable. Please contact us to be put on our waiting list.

Training

Training/Schooling Rides or Groundwork - $50/each

Partial Training Package - $550/month
Includes 2 training rides/week (or 1 training ride and 1 lesson/week)

Schooling Package - $160/month
Includes 1 training/schooling ride/week

Unfortunately we do not have any openings for full training at this time.

Leasing

Full Lease - $650/month
Unlimited rides, 4 group lessons monthly, split vet/farrier

Half Lease - $450/month
3 rides/week, 4 group lessons monthly

Quarter Lease - $350/month
2 rides/week, 4 group lessons monthly

Practice Lease - $250/month
1 ride/week, 4 group lessons monthly
